Lenox Hill Hospital

Dr. Shinhar is the Chief of Otolaryngology at Lenox Hill Hospital. The hospital has earned a national reputation for outstanding patient care and innovative medical and surgical treatments. Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital

Dr. Shinhar is the Chief of Otolaryngology at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, The hospital opened its doors to patients on October 15, 1869 at its original location, 223 East 34th Street.  At the time, much of the city did not have access to many vital services and the lack of basic healthcare drastically affected everyday life. Faced with this reality, the New York state legislature issued a charter to found a voluntary, non-profit hospital.   Since its founding, the hospital has built upon its proud tradition of providing patient-centered care and has grown to become a world-renowned facility.

Dr. Shinhar is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at The New York Medical College which consists of three schools — the School of Medicine, the Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences and the School of Health Sciences and Practice.
